Individuals or organized organizations that have been using water resources before the commencement of the Act shall disclose the details mentioned in Rule 17 and apply for the relevant district water resource utilization permit within one year from the date of commencement of the Act.
(2) Based on the application submitted as per sub-rule (1), the concerned District Water Resources Committee will issue a permit to the applicant in the format as per Schedule-7 after conducting the necessary investigation.
